Warrior Affiliated Inc is excited to offer a unique educational and enrichment day trip to Myakka Elephant Ranch (Myakka City) and ICON Park (Orlando), designed to inspire curiosity, responsibility, and future-focused thinking among our participants.

This experience blends hands-on learning, STEM exposure, and real-world exploration, giving students the opportunity to engage beyond the classroom while building confidence, awareness, and motivation.

Myakka Elephant Ranch Experience

At Myakka Elephant Ranch, students will participate in an educational encounter that highlights:

Animal care, conservation, and ethical responsibility
Science-based learning connected to biology and environmental awareness
Respect for wildlife and the importance of preservation

This portion of the trip encourages students to connect learning to real-life applications while fostering empathy, responsibility, and appreciation for the natural world.

ICON Park STEM & Exploration Experience

Following the ranch visit, students will travel to ICON Park, where they will engage in STEM-related and experiential learning activities in an interactive, real-world environment. This portion of the day emphasizes:

5:00 AM – Depart Fort Lauderdale

8:15–9:00 AM – Rest Stop

9:45 AM – Arrive at Myakka Elephant Ranch
10:00–11:00 AM – Guided Elephant Ranch Visit

11:00 AM – Depart for Orlando

1:30 PM – Arrive at ICON Park
1:45–7:00 PM – ICON Park Activities

7:00 PM – Depart ICON Park

8:30–8:50 PM – Rest Stop

10:30–10:45 PM – Return to Fort Lauderdale

Round-trip transportation to and from all locations

Continuous adult supervision throughout the entire day
Warrior Affiliated Inc staff support, including planning, coordination, and on-site management

NOTE: Meals and snacks are not included.

Trip Cost, DUE DATE, & Payment Information

Trip Cost

The total cost for the Myakka Elephant Ranch & ICON Park Experiential Learning Day is $90 per student. Payments are due by Friday, April 3rd, 2026.

Payment Requirements & Accepted Methods

Payment is due in full to reserve your spot. You will not be permitted to attend unless all parent permission forms have been completed and signed. Permission slips need to be downloaded, printed, completed, and returned. Scanned completed forms are accepted for your convienance. Please email to erica.ruck00@gmail.com.

Important Payment Notes

A student’s spot on the trip is not confirmed until both signed forms and payment are received.
Payments must be submitted through one of the approved methods listed above.
For tracking and accountability purposes, families are asked to include the student’s full name with all electronic payments.

No Refund Policy

All payments made for the Myakka Elephant Ranch & ICON Park Experiential Learning Day are final and non‑refundable.

Important Policy Details:

No refunds will be issued for any reason, including student withdrawal, absence, illness, or changes in personal circumstances.
Payments are only refundable if Warrior Affiliated INC cancels the trip.
This policy is in place to ensure that the trip can occur as planned and is not impacted by last‑minute cancellations or funding shortfalls.

Why This Policy Is Necessary

Once payments are collected, funds are immediately committed to transportation, admission fees, staffing, insurance, and program costs, many of which are non‑refundable to the organization. Allowing refunds would jeopardize the ability for the trip to move forward for all participants.

By submitting payment, families acknowledge and agree that:

Their payment secures their child’s participation
Funds are allocated in advance to cover essential trip expenses
The no‑refund policy helps protect the success of the trip for the entire group
